Welcome to http://www.amethystwriters.com. The http://www.amethystwriters.com website (the “Site” or the “Service”) is composed of various web pages operated by AMETHYST WRITERS LLP (“AMETHYST WRITERS”). http://www.amethystwriters.com is offered to you conditioned on your acceptance without modification of the terms, conditions, and notices contained herein (the “Terms”). Your use of http://www.amethystwriters.com constitutes your agreement to all such Terms. Please read these terms carefully, and keep a copy of them for your reference.

AMETHYST WRITERS is an online platform that allows users to upload, publish, comment, like, and dislike written stories.
Section 01: Changes to the terms and conditions
AMETHYST WRITERS may make changes to the Agreement from time to time by publishing amended versions on the site. We will attempt to provide you with notice of any changes to the Agreement that materially affect your rights by notifying you via email, offering a notification within the site or by updating the date at the top of the Agreement. You should also periodically review the most up-to-date version of the Agreement on AMETHYST WRITERS. All modifications to the Agreement that we post on the Service will be effective immediately upon posting, and your continued use of the Service after we post changes to the Agreement will confirm your acceptance of the changes. If you do not agree to the modified Agreement, you must stop using the Service.
Section 02: Privacy
- Your use of http://www.amethystwriters.com is subject to AMETHYST WRITERS’s Privacy Policy. Please review our Privacy Policy, which also governs the Site and informs users of our data collection practices.
- If you access third-party Service, such as, but not limited to, Facebook, Google, or Twitter, through the Service to login to the Service or to share information about your experience on the Service with others, these third-party Service may be able to collect information about you, including information about your activity on the Service, and they may notify your connections on the third-party Service about your use of the Service, in accordance with their own privacy policies.
- If you choose to engage in public activities on the Service, you should be aware that any information you share there can be read, collected, or used by other users of these areas. Section 03: Electronic Communications

You consent to receive electronic communications and you agree that all agreements, notices, disclosures, and other communications that we provide to you electronically, via email and on the Site, satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing.
Section 04: Use of your Account
- If you use this site, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for restricting access to your computer, and you agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account or password. You may not assign or otherwise transfer your account to any other person or entity. You acknowledge that AMETHYST WRITERS is not responsible for third party access to your account that results from theft or misappropriation of your account. AMETHYST WRITERS and its associates reserve the right to refuse or cancel service, terminate accounts, or remove or edit content in our sole discretion.
- You may not access or use, or attempt to access or use, the Service to take any action that could harm AMETHYST WRITERS, its affiliates, service providers, licensors, or any other third party, interfere with the operation of the Service, or use the Service in a manner that violates any laws. For example, and without limitation, you may not:
- impersonate any person or entity or otherwise misrepresent your affiliation or the origin of materials you transmit;
- allow any other person to use the Service under your account;
- engage in unauthorized “crawling,” “scraping,” or harvesting of content or personal information, or use any other unauthorized automated means to compile information available through the Service;
- take any action that imposes an unreasonable or disproportionately large load on AMETHYST WRITERS’s network or infrastructure;
- use any device, software, or routine to interfere or attempt to interfere with the proper working of the Service or any activity conducted on the Service or attempt to probe, scan, test the vulnerability of, or breach the security of any system or network;
- attempt to decipher, decompile, disassemble, or reverse-engineer any of the software comprising or in any way making up a part of the Service;
- distribute any unauthorized materials or advertise or promote goods or Service through the Service without AMETHYST WRITERS’s permission (including, without limitation, by sending spam); or
- engage in any other conduct that restricts or inhibits any person from using or enjoying the Service, or that, in AMETHYST WRITERS’s sole judgment, exposes The Service or any of the Site’s users, affiliates, or any other third party to any liability, damages, or detriment of any type.
- Violations of system or network security may result in civil or criminal liability. AMETHYST WRITERS may investigate and work with law enforcement authorities to prosecute users who violate the Agreement.
Section 05: Children Under Thirteen (13) / Children under Eighteen (18)
- To use the Service, you must be at least thirteen (13) years old (or the minimum permissible age under the applicable law of your jurisdiction, if higher) (“Minimum Age”). The use of the Service by anyone under the Minimum Age is unauthorized and unlicensed. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet the foregoing requirement. If you do not meet this requirement, you may not access or use the Service.
- AMETHYST WRITERS does not knowingly collect, either online or offline, personal information from people under the age of thirteen (13). If you are between 13 and 18 (or between the Minimum Age and the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction of residence, a “Minor(s)”), you may only use the Service under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian (“Representative(s)”) who agrees to be bound by the Agreement.
- You represent to us that (i) you are at least of Minimum Age or otherwise will provide us with contact information of your parent or guardian in order for us to obtain consent consistent with the laws of your jurisdiction and (ii) if you are a Minor, you may only use the Service under the consent and supervision of a Representative who agrees to be bound by the Agreement, and the use of the Service is for personal purpose. We may request you to provide evidence of your Representative’s consent or your age. We may also terminate your use of the Service if it comes to our attention that any of your representations to us are not correct. You declare that if you are a Minor, your Representative(s) have read and agreed with these Terms of Use and Privacy Policy before you start to use the Service or any other products or Service offered by AMETHYST WRITERS. We advise Representatives who permit their represented Minors to use the Service to communicate with them about online safety, as well as about the content rating and any occasional improper contents which may be found in the Service. Represented Minors permitted to use any interactive service should be made aware by their Representatives of the potential risks to them. Representatives shall be liable for the acts or omissions of their represented Minors.
Section 06: Purchasing and using Coins
Some aspects of our service may include content that requires the redemption of Coins. You may access such content by purchasing Coins. You do not own the Coins regardless of whether you have “purchased” them. Furthermore, Coins do not hold any “real world” value. You are granted a limited, non-transferable, revocable, non-exclusive license of personal use of Coins to access certain content related to the Service.
- Coins will be provided to you by the means specified by AMETHYST WRITERS such as purchases or special offers. Details regarding the payment methods, units, and all other conditions regarding Coins will be decided by AMETHYST WRITERS and displayed accordingly to the Service.
- Coins cannot be exchanged or be used for any other purpose other than to access certain content or other futures Service offered by AMETHYST WRITERS. AMETHYST WRITERS reserves the right to change the purchase price for the Coins at any time, and the number of Coins required for accessing the content will be determined by AMETHYST WRITERS from time to time and displayed accordingly to the Service.
- Coins may only be used by the account that purchased them.
- You agree that all Coin Sales by AMETHYST WRITERS to you are final and will not be refunded for any reason unless required by applicable law. If required by the applicable law, AMETHYST WRITERS shall process refunds in accordance with the relevant laws.
- You are not allowed to transfer Coins outside of the Site (e.g. Selling, gifting, or trading them), nor sublicense, trade, sell, or attempt to sell Coins for real money, or exchange Coins for value of any kind outside of http://www.amethystwriters.com. Any such transfer is prohibited and void.
- The purchase value of Coins associated with your account may not exceed $2,000 (or the equivalent in your local currency) at any given time.
- Subject to the limit under F. and in any case, your Coin purchases in total across any and all accounts you hold may not exceed $10,000 (or the equivalent in your local currency) per day.
- We may modify or limit the maximum balance of Coins held in your account and maximum value of Coins you can purchase at any time and to any amount in our sole discretion.
Section 07: Refund Policy
If you encounter any problems such as Coins not being displayed after purchasing them, please contact us at contact.amethystwriters@gmail.com
While making your claims, you must provide us with proofs such as receipts given to you at the time of the purchase.

The Linked Sites are not under the control of AMETHYST WRITERS and AMETHYST WRITERS is not responsible for the contents of any Linked Site, including without limitation any link contained in a Linked Site, or any changes or updates to a Linked Site. AMETHYST WRITERS is providing these links to you only as a convenience, and the inclusion of any link does not imply endorsement by AMETHYST WRITERS of the site or any association with its operators.

By using any product, service or functionality originating from the http://www.amethystwriters.com domain, you hereby acknowledge and consent that AMETHYST WRITERS may share such information and data with any third party with whom AMETHYST WRITERS has a contractual relationship to provide the requested product, service or functionality on behalf of http://www.amethystwriters.com users and customers.
Section 09: No Unlawful or Prohibited Use/Intellectual Property

As a condition of your use of the Site, you warrant to AMETHYST WRITERS that you will not use the Site for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by these Terms. You may not obtain or attempt to obtain any materials of information through any means not intentionally made available or provided for through the Site.
- All content included as part of the Service, such as text, graphics, logos, images, as well as the compilation thereof, and any software used on the Site, is the property of AMETHYST WRITERS or its suppliers and protected by copyright and other laws that protect intellectual property and proprietary rights. You agree to observe and abide by all copyright and other proprietary notices, legends or other restrictions contained in any such content and will not make changes thereto.
- You will not modify, publish, transmit, reverse engineer, participate in the transfer or sale, create derivative works, or in any way exploit any of the content, in whole or in part, found on the Site. AMETHYST WRITERS content is not for resale. - AMETHYST WRITERS does not claim ownership of the materials you provide to http://www.amethystwriters.com (including feedback and suggestions) or post, upload, input or submit to any AMETHYST WRITERS Site or our associated Service (collectively “Submissions”). However, by posting, uploading, inputting, providing, or submitting your Submission, you are granting AMETHYST WRITERS, our affiliated companies and necessary sublicensees permission to use your Submission in connection with the operation of their Internet businesses including, without limitation, the rights to: copy, distribute, transmit, publicly display, publicly perform, reproduce, edit, translate and reformat your Submission, and to publish your name in connection with your Submission.
- No compensation will be paid with respect to the use of your Submission, as provided herein. AMETHYST WRITERS is under no obligation to post or use any Submission you may provide and may remove any Submission at any time in AMETHYST WRITERS’s sole discretion.
- By posting, uploading, inputting, providing or submitting your Submission, you warrant and represent that you own or otherwise control all of the rights to your Submission as described in this section including, without limitation, all the rights necessary for you to provide, post, upload, input or submit the Submissions.
Section 11: Copyright infringement
AMETHYST WRITERS respects the intellectual property of others. The Site takes matters of Intellectual Property very seriously and is committed to meeting the needs of content owners while helping them manage publication of their content online. The books’ files, which are under copyright protection, are NOT PUBLISHED on the website. We are not supporting digital piracy. Our task is to acquaint the users with the world literature novelties and to retain copyright. The books’ fragments on our website are added by users and we have no opportunity to control them constantly. If you consider that some fragments violate the author’s right, contact us.
If you believe that your copyrighted work has been copied in a way that constitutes copyright infringement and is accessible on this site, you may notify our copyright agent, as set forth in the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 (DMCA). For your complaint to be valid under the DMCA, you must provide the following information when providing notice of the claimed copyright infringement:

We sometimes come across websites that have illegally scraped content from AMETHYST WRITERS. When we find these sites we do our best to have them shutdown. In order to act on behalf of our users we need to have your legal permission to do that so we ask for it here when you sign up. You authorize us to act as your agent to issue take down notices under the DMCA and/or any other similar legislation that allows for the submission of requests to Internet service providers and any other person involved in the illegal posting for the removal of infringing or allegedly infringing copyright materials that are contained in or displayed on such service providers platforms and/or Service.
Section 12: International Users
The Service is controlled, operated, and administered by AMETHYST WRITERS from our offices within the USA. If you access the Service from a location outside the USA, you are responsible for compliance with all local laws. You agree that you will not use the AMETHYST WRITERS Content accessed through http://www.amethystwriters.com in any country or in any manner prohibited by any applicable laws, restrictions or regulations.

Section 13: Monetization
- By using http://www.amethystwriters.com, you hereby declare and accept that AMETHYST WRITERS take at least 20% of all gain generated by your books, short stories, and other types of mediums using words as a means to tell a story.
- We may require you to provide certain information or to register a valid Paypal account in your AMETHYST WRITERS account in order to receive payments. If you fail to provide that information or if the information you provide is incomplete or inaccurate, we will not be obligated to make payments to you until we determine that the information has been provided or updated accordingly. We may establish other payment policies from time to time, such as minimum payment amounts for different payment methods and check fees.
Section 14: Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless AMETHYST WRITERS, its officers, directors, employees, agents and third parties, for any losses, costs, liabilities, expenses (including reasonable attorney’s fees) relating to or arising out of your use of or inability to use the Site or Service, any user postings made by you, your violation of any terms of this Agreement or your violation of any rights of a third party, or your violation of any applicable laws, rules or regulations. AMETHYST WRITERS reserves the right, at its own cost, to assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter otherwise subject to indemnification by you, in which event you will fully cooperate with AMETHYST WRITERS in asserting any available defenses.
Section 15: Arbitration
In the event the parties are not able to resolve any dispute between them arising out of or concerning these Terms and Conditions, or any provisions hereof, whether in contract, tort, or otherwise at law or in equity for damages or any other relief, then such dispute shall be resolved only by final and binding arbitration pursuant to the Federal Arbitration Act, conducted by a single neutral arbitrator and administered by the American Arbitration Association, or a similar arbitration service selected by the parties, in a location mutually agreed upon by the parties. The arbitrator’s award shall be final, and judgment may be entered upon it in any court having jurisdiction. In the event that any legal or equitable action, proceeding or arbitration arises out of or concerns these Terms and Conditions, the prevailing party shall be entitled to recover its costs and reasonable attorney’s fees. The parties agree to arbitrate all disputes and claims in regards to these Terms and Conditions or any disputes arising as a result of these Terms and Conditions, whether directly or indirectly, including Tort claims that are a result of these Terms and Conditions. The parties agree that the Federal Arbitration Act governs the interpretation and enforcement of this provision. The entire dispute, including the scope and enforceability of this arbitration provision shall be determined by the Arbitrator. This arbitration shall survive the termination of these Terms and Conditions.
Section 16: Class Action Waiver
Any arbitration under these Terms and Conditions will take place on an individual basis; class arbitration and class/representative/collective actions are not permitted. THE PARTIES AGREE THAT A PARTY MAY BRING CLAIMS AGAINST THE OTHER ONLY IN EACH’S INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY, AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY PUTATIVE CLASS, COLLECTIVE AND/OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING, SUCH AS IN THE FORM OF A PRIVATE ATTORNEY GENERAL ACTION AGAINST THE OTHER. further , unless both you and AMETHYST WRITERS agree otherwise, the arbitrator may not consolidate more than one person’s claims, and may not otherwise preside over any form of a representative or class proceeding.
Section 17: Liability Disclaimer
THE INFORMATION, SOFTWARE, PRODUCTS, AND Service INCLUDED IN OR AVAILABLE THROUGH THE SITE MAY INCLUDE INACCURACIES OR TYPOGRAPHICAL ERRORS. CHANGES ARE PERIODICALLY ADDED TO THE INFORMATION HEREIN. AMETHYST WRITERS LLP AND/OR ITS SUPPLIERS MAY MAKE IMPROVEMENTS AND/OR CHANGES IN THE SITE AT ANY TIME.
AMETHYST WRITERS LLP AND/OR ITS SUPPLIERS MAKE NO REPRESENTATIONS ABOUT THE SUITABILITY, RELIABILITY, AVAILABILITY, TIMELINESS, AND ACCURACY OF THE INFORMATION, SOFTWARE, PRODUCTS, Service, AND RELATED GRAPHICS CONTAINED ON THE SITE FOR ANY PURPOSE. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAWS, ALL SUCH INFORMATION, SOFTWARE, PRODUCTS, Service, AND RELATED GRAPHICS ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTY OR CONDITION OF ANY KIND. AMETHYST WRITERS LLP AND/OR ITS SUPPLIERS HEREBY DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES AND CONDITIONS WITH REGARD TO THIS INFORMATION, SOFTWARE, PRODUCTS, Service, AND RELATED GRAPHICS, INCLUDING ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES OR CONDITIONS OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL AMETHYST WRITERS LLP AND/OR ITS SUPPLIERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, PUNITIVE, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OR ANY DAMAGES WHATSOEVER INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF USE, DATA OR PROFITS, ARISING OUT OF OR IN ANY WAY CONNECTED WITH THE USE OF PERFORMANCE OF THE SITE, WITH THE DELAY OR INABILITY TO USE THE SITE OR RELATED Service, THE PROVISION OF OR FAILURE TO PROVIDE Service, OR FOR ANY INFORMATION, SOFTWARE, PRODUCTS, Service, AND RELATED GRAPHICS OBTAINED THROUGH THE SITE, OR OTHERWISE ARISING OUT OF THE USE OF THE SITE, WHETHER BASED ON CONTRACT, TORT, NEGLIGENCE, STRICT LIABILITY OR OTHERWISE, EVEN IF AMETHYST WRITERS LLP OR ANY OF ITS SUPPLIERS HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF DAMAGES. BECAUSE SOMES STATES/JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OF LIMITATION OF LIABILITY FOR CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES, THE ABOVE LIMITATION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. IF YOU ARE DISSATISFIED WITH ANY PORTION OF THE SITE, OR WITH ANY OF THESE TERMS OF USE, YOUR SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY IS TO DISCONTINUE USING THE SITE.
Section 18: Your Liability to AMETHYST WRITERS
If you do something that gets us sued, or break any of the promises you make in these Terms of Service, you shall compensate us for any liabilities, losses, claims, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees and costs) that arise from or relate to your use or misuse of the Service. We reserve the right to assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter otherwise subject to this clause, in which case you agree that you’ll cooperate and help us in asserting any defenses.
Section 19: Account Deletion/Termination/Access Restriction
- AMETHYST WRITERS reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to terminate your access to the Site and the related Service or any portion thereof at any time, without notice. To the maximum extent permitted by law, this agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Oklahoma and you hereby consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of courts in Oklahoma in all disputes arising out of or relating to the use of the Site. Use of the Site is unauthorized in any jurisdiction that does not give effect to all provisions of these Terms, including, without limitation, this section.
- You can permanently delete your AMETHYST WRITERS account. If you close your account, it will first be deactivated and then deleted. When your account is deactivated, while it is not viewable on the Site, all of your Submissions, comments, and messages posted on http://www.amethystwriters.com will remain except that they will be anonymized. For four (4) weeks after deactivation it is still possible to restore your account if it was accidentally or wrongfully deactivated, including re-associating your comments and message board posts to your profile. After one (1) month, we permanently delete your account from our systems, except that your anonymized comments and message board posts will remain on the Service.
- You agree that no joint venture, partnership, employment, or agency relationship exists between you and AMETHYST WRITERS as a result of this agreement or use of the Site. AMETHYST WRITERS’s performance of this agreement is subject to existing laws and legal process, and nothing contained in this agreement is in derogation of AMETHYST WRITERS’s right to comply with governmental, court and law enforcement requests or requirements relating to your use of the Site or information provided to or gathered by AMETHYST WRITERS with respect to such use. If any part of this agreement is determined to be invalid or unenforceable pursuant to applicable law including, but not limited to, the warranty disclaimers and liability limitations set forth above, then the invalid or unenforceable provision will be deemed superseded by a valid, enforceable provision that most closely matches the intent of the original provision and the remainder of the agreement shall continue in effect.
- Unless otherwise specified herein, this agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the user and AMETHYST WRITERS with respect to the Site and it supersedes all prior or contemporaneous communications and proposals, whether electronic, oral, or written between the user and AMETHYST WRITERS with respect to the Site. A printed version of this agreement and of any notice given in electronic form shall be admissible in judicial or administrative proceedings based upon or relating to this agreement to the same extent and subject to the same conditions as other business documents and records originally generated and maintained in printed form. It is the express wish to the parties that this agreement and all related documents be written in English.
Section 20: Suggestions and Feedback
By submitting any ideas, suggestions, proposals, or feedback regarding the website, its features, services, or operations (“Feedback”), you acknowledge and agree that:
Your Feedback is provided voluntarily and without any expectation of compensation or attribution;
Amethyst Writers shall be free to use, disclose, reproduce, modify, license, or otherwise exploit such Feedback in any manner and for any purpose, without obligation to you;
You do not acquire any rights in the website, the company operating it, or any of its content or services as a result of providing such Feedback.
You further waive any claim against Amethyst Writers or its affiliated entities related to the use of your Feedback, including but not limited to intellectual property, moral, or proprietary rights.
Section 21: Independent Contractor Status
By submitting, publishing, or contributing content to Amethyst Writers, you acknowledge and agree that:
You are acting as an independent contractor and not as an employee, agent, or partner of Amethyst Writers or its parent company.
